Privacy policy

Effective October 27, 2026

RJA OS is an AI-powered job-search and application-management platform currently in development. This policy describes its implemented development integration and this public informational website. It does not represent a production launch or Google approval.

1. Account and application information

When you authorize the Gmail integration, RJA OS obtains your Gmail email address to identify the connected account. The integration stores the permissions granted, connection status, and OAuth credentials needed to maintain the connection. It does not ask for or store your Google password.

The private application also holds information supplied or imported for your job search, such as opportunities, application status, resumes, employer contacts, and communication records. If you contact support, the email address and information you include in your request are available to the operator handling it.

2. Gmail information accessed

With your authorization, the read integration can retrieve Gmail messages, message bodies and snippets, sender and recipient details, subjects, timestamps, labels, message and thread identifiers, and attachments where needed to verify application materials. Inbox synchronization retrieves full messages, including messages that cannot yet be linked to an application; those messages remain unlinked for review. Read permission is not limited by Google to application-related messages.

The development implementation supports a read-only permission and a separate optional compose permission. Compose permission allows draft management and sending, not just drafts. Actual access depends on your Google consent. The current review interface blocks external draft creation and sending; publishing this website does not enable either capability or change permissions.

3. How Gmail information is used

Gmail access supports application communications, draft management, and tracking. RJA OS uses message information to identify application acknowledgments, employer replies, interviews, offers and rejections; associate communications with application records; capture employer contact details; and verify sent-message and attachment evidence. The draft workflow prepares application or outreach messages and their resume attachments. Live Gmail draft or send operations require separately enabled functionality and authorization.

Message classification in the current implementation uses application rules. Gmail data is not used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. The platform's AI-powered resume and job-search description does not mean that mailbox content is sent to an AI model.

4. Storage, protection and retention

The private development application stores account, application, imported message and communication records in its application database. Retrieved message payloads and prepared message content may be stored with those records. The OAuth implementation encrypts stored access and refresh credentials using a configured encryption key; this is not a claim that all application data is encrypted at rest. Google API requests use HTTPS.

The application remains a development system. No independent security certification, comprehensive encryption guarantee, or production security assessment is claimed. No fixed retention period or automated retention schedule is currently implemented. Stored records may remain until manually reviewed and removed; revoking Google access does not itself erase copies already stored by RJA OS.

5. Sharing and third parties

RJA OS does not sell Gmail data or use it for advertising, data brokerage, creditworthiness decisions, or generalized model training. Google processes authorization and Gmail API requests. If a user separately authorizes and enables sending, the selected recipients receive the message content and attachments. The current Gmail implementation does not forward mailbox content to a separate AI service.

The hosting provider for this informational website processes ordinary web requests, which can include IP addresses, browser information and access logs, under its own practices. This website contains no sign-in, Gmail connection, analytics script, tracking pixel, or application database connection. Private mailbox data and application records are not part of this public deployment.

Other transfers of Google user data are limited to those permitted by Google's Limited Use requirements: necessary user-facing functionality with consent, security purposes, legal obligations, or a business transfer with prior explicit user consent. Human access to Google user data is limited to specific user consent, necessary security investigation, legal requirements, or permitted aggregated internal operations.

6. Google API Limited Use

RJA OS's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. These restrictions also apply to data derived from Google user data.

7. Revoke Google access

You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account's third-party connections settings. Select the RJA OS connection and remove its access. This stops future authorized Google API access; it does not delete information already imported into the application. The integration requires reconnection when its authorization is no longer valid.

8. Request deletion

Email obantedesigns@gmail.com with the subject “RJA OS data deletion request,” identify the connected account, and describe the records you want removed. Do not include passwords, access tokens, or sensitive message contents. Requests are handled manually and may require account verification.

RJA OS does not currently provide a self-service deletion tool, an automated deletion workflow, or a guaranteed deletion deadline. The operator will review the request and explain what can be removed and any limitations. Removing RJA OS records does not delete messages from your Gmail account.

9. Contact and changes

RJA OS is operated by Valerie Kadiri. Contact and support: obantedesigns@gmail.com.

This policy will be updated as the product's actual data practices change. New uses of Google data require updated disclosures and consent where required by Google.
